By registering for and participating in Barcelona Games, I confirm that:
- I am at least 18 years old and I am registering for myself.
- I am participating voluntarily in a social outdoor sports event involving physical activity on sand and near a beach environment.
- I understand that participation may involve normal sporting risks, including running on uneven sand, falling, slipping, collisions, contact with sports equipment, muscle strains, fatigue, dehydration, sun exposure and heat-related discomfort or injury.
- I confirm that I am physically able to participate safely and will not take part if I am injured, unwell, intoxicated or otherwise unable to participate safely.
- I agree to follow the organiser's safety instructions, respect other participants and members of the public, and avoid reckless or dangerous behaviour.
- I knowingly accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with voluntarily participating in these recreational sports activities.
- I remain responsible for my personal belongings during the event.
- In the event of an accident or medical emergency, I authorise the organiser to contact emergency services and provide reasonable assistance.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law, including responsibility arising from negligent or intentional acts or omissions by the organiser.
By accepting these terms during registration, I confirm that I have read, understood and accepted this Participation Terms & Risk Acknowledgement.
Villa retreats
Additional terms for retreats at Finca Sanillés
Our Weekend Games and company retreats are hosted at Finca Sanillés, a private property. The property requires every guest to accept the conditions below before arriving. If you are attending a retreat there, these apply in addition to the Participation Terms above. Without them, you can't stay on the property.
DISCLAIMER
THE PARTICIPANT VOLUNTARILY ASSUMES THE RISK OF PROPERTY LOSS, SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH BY ATTENDING THIS EVENT, AND ASSUMES AS WELL FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR THEIR PARTICIPATION. Vehicles, events and performances are not owned or operated by AAS and/or Ecomundis and therefore the Participant also assumes any and all risk of injury or loss associated with or arising from their operation or occurrence and release AAS from any claim arising from this risk. The Participant agrees to hold AAS, its officers, directors, members, employees, volunteers, representatives, agents, contractors and subcontractors, and other participants, harmless from any damages, injuries, losses, liabilities and expenses relating to, resulting from or arising out of the participation in any programme, event, activity or service at the Event. The Participant also agrees that the present terms and conditions shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under all applicable law.
2. REMEMBER THAT: The Participant agrees to read and abide by the present conditions, principles of participation, as well as to comply with local and national Spanish laws.
By accepting, I agree to be registered as a Provisional AAS member (name, email and my answer on what brings me to Sanilles).
